The Avon Lake Parks and Recreation Department oversees and coordinates many recreation activities, programs, services, and facilities for the City of Avon Lake. This department consists of a recreation director, secretary, recreation program coordinator, sports/events coor-dinator, and two custodial staff members. We encourage community involvement in our department through the City of Avon Lake Recreation Commission that serves as an advisory board to the Recreation Director.
