Where in the world will AL go this year?
AL loves to travel and see the world. Take him with you on vacation this year and let us know where he goes!
How do I enter?
Entering the contest is simple. Take AL with you on vacation and snap a photo of AL with something related to storm water. Some ideas are skiing the slopes, hiking by a waterfall or surfing at a beach, etc. Then simply submit your photo with a brief explanation on why you and AL think the photo is important to clean water.
Who can enter?
Entries can be received from any Avon Lake Resident. Multiple entries are accepted but each entry needs to be for a different location and different explanation.
The best photo and explanation will be chosen at the Big Trucks event in September 2012. Winning entries are eligible to win either a rain barrel or a $50 Recreation Department gift certificate. Winning entries will be posted on the Avon Lake website after the event.
What do I need?
- AL with his t-shirt to identify him;
- Tell us where you were when you took the photo;
- Write up a brief one-paragraph explanation of why you and AL think your photo is important to clean storm water.
When should I enter?
Entries are being accepted now through September, 2012. If you need more information or need an AL to take with you on vacation, please call the Avon Lake Engineering Department at 440-930-4101.
Where should I send my entry?
Entries may be submitted below or brought directly to the Engineering Department at City Hall (150 Avon Belden Road, 1st Floor)
