  • Community Council Wants Citizen and Project of the Year Nominations
  • ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD WANTS YOUR INPUT
  • DO YOU QUALIFY FOR A $300 SEWER CREDIT?

Welcome to The City of Avon Lake

The city of Avon Lake has a history of hard working farmers scratching out a living from a heavy clay soil.  Grape vineyards lined the dirt paths, the same byways that now serve as main arteries with names like Walker, Lear, Miller and Moore.

Today, Avon Lake is home to vibrant neighborhoods, industry and commercial activity.  Please join us on the shores of Lake Erie for a beautiful sunset as the day melts into dusk and a calm comes over all who witness it.  And stay for our restaurants and shop at our local businesses.  You’ll be happy you did.
