Will you accept electronic checks online to pay for programs and reservations?
At this time we are not accepting electronic checks for online registration. This module will come in the near future.
What credit cards will be accepted online to pay for programs and reservations?
We will accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards to pay for classes.
I saw information on a class but I cannot find the class in the registration system. Why is this?
If you see information on a program but cannot find it in our online reservation system it is because we are not currently accepting registrations for this program. Check back at a later date or call us for more information on when the program registration will be released.
How will I know if I am registered for the class I want in the online registration system?
When you register online you receive immediate confirmation that you have been registered. Your payment receipt will provide information on this class you registered for.
My child was recently injured and is unable to participate in the class that we registered him for. How can I receive a refund?
Refunds will be issued according to our Refund Policy.
I do not want to register online. How can I register for a program?
Traditional registration will continue to be a part of our registration process. We will provide electronic registration forms online and you may also pick up a form at City Hall.
I lost my job a year ago and receive social services. How can I register my child for your programs?
The City of Avon Lake Parks and Recreation Department has a Scholarship Program for people receiving social services. Please contact us or review the information online for more information.
How will your department use the personal information I provide through registration?
The City of Avon Lake Parks and Recreation Department will use your registration information to assign teams, create rosters, evaluate programs, and to track program interest. Your information will not be shared outside of City business. Additionally, we can use this information to develop future programs based upon interest and to notify you of upcoming programs and events.
