Where can I get my bicycle license?

At the Avon Lake Police Department, Records Division.

How much is a bicycle license?

The cost is $1.00.

How long will my power be out?

You need to call the number on your electrical bill.

Can the police department call for my area's power outage?

No. You have to call and report your area to the electric company and they will have questions for you about your outage and your account. Call the number on your bill.

What should I do when a deer is in my yard?

Leave them alone and they will move on. Stay away from them.

What should I do if I have a sick squirrel in my yard?

Call the police department and the animal warden will be dispatched/notified.

How do I get a trap set up for nuisance animals?

Call the police department; leave your name, address and telephone number to request a trap. The animal warden will get in touch with you.

What animals can get trapped by the animal warden?

The animal warden will trap all animals except Skunks and Chipmunks.

Who can I call if I have a skunk problem?

You may contact Mike Cottom at 440 236-8114. You may also visit Mr. Cottom's website at www.wildlife-removal.com.

What is the curfew hours for a 13 year old?

For kids 14 and under it is 10:00 p.m.

What is the curfew for 15 to 16 year olds?

The curfew is 11 p.m.

What is the curfew for a 17 year old?

It is 1:00 a.m.
