- Ellen Trivanovich Municipal Pool
The
Avon Lake Municipal Pool was built in 1962. It was rededicated The Ellen
Trivanovich Municipal Pool in 1992 in honor of Ellen Trivanovich for her
outstanding service to the community. “Miss Ellen” as she was known to many
was the pool manager and swimming instructor for many years. The pool is 10,000 sq.
ft. in size, consisting of 3 rectangles, each 60 ft. by 120 ft.,
not including the baby pool. This facility is handicapped accessible. The pool
opens on the last day of school in June and closes on Labor Day. Registration
for Season Passes, Learn-To-Swim Program, and Water Safety Program are held
several weekends in May at the pool. Pool passes are available to Avon Lake
residents only. This facility has one - three meter diving board, two -
one meter diving boards, showers/restrooms, concession/picnic area, and
a baby pool.

Operating Hours: OPEN SWIMMING Daily 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.,
weather permitting.
Season Pass Rates: Individual…$45 Family…$125 plus a mandatory
50 cent lamination fee per pass

60 and Over & Children under 3.........................FREE
Note: The Ellen Trivanovich Municipal Pool will not open
if the temperature at 1:00 p.m. is below 65 degrees.The pool will close
at the discretion of management if the weather warrants or the temperature
falls below 65 degrees. The pool will be cleared for 20 minutes (minimum)
after hearing thunder or sighting lightning. There are NO REFUNDS if the
pool closes because of inclement weather.
Admission Regulations:
Season passes are non-transferable. Attempts to transfer will
result in suspension at the discretion of pool manager. A $5.00 replacement
fee is charged for lost cards.
A season pass entitles the holder to all open swimming sessions
at the pool.
An adult MUST accompany children 8 and under.
An adult should accompany children under the age of 12. Children
should never be permitted to swim alone.
In-out privileges are provided. See cashier to have your hand
stamped.
An adult is considered to be 18 years of age and older.
