This week on Public Access, Jane Voneman-DuPerow talks with guest Jeff Hartz of the Cleveland Haunt Club on the latest episode of “Honor the Magic Within.”  The October 3, 2018, Avon-on-the-Lake Garden Club program featured the Desert Botanical Garden and Chihuly Glass with Bill Hendricks, President of Klyn Nurseries.  The City Club of Cleveland’s “Jobs for All? Disruption and the Future of Work” features Congressman Ro Khanna, U.S. Representative of Silicon Valley.  In 2017, nearly two million new jobs were created and the unemployment rate fell to a 17-year low of 4.1 percent. However, those numbers do not tell the whole story - and jobs and job creation remain a leading concern for legislators, corporate leaders, and Americans alike.  Congressman Khanna discusses how to address the changing nature of work in the digital age.  Special Guest Ohio State Senator Gayle Manning, who spent 37 years as an elementary school teacher, reads to children at the September 24th session of Avon Lake Public Library’s Family Story Time.  Host Kathryn Eyring is joined by retired art teach Sean Crum on the latest episode of “Aging Gracefully.”
