Mayor’s Column for June 13, 2018
A huge thank you to those who participated in the Avon Lake Memorial Day events. Those who attended were generous with their compliments toward the American Legion and the hard working employees of the City of Avon Lake who coordinated the annual tribute to those who sacrificed to keep our country free. We thank them for their dedication. The large crowds at the parade and ceremony are a testimony to the appreciation our residents have toward those who served in the military as well as those currently in uniform. We honor them all and we will never forget.
