Each year, the Community Council honors a volunteer for outstanding achievements in the area of community service as well as a project which merits community-wide recognition.

Applications for the 2019 Avon Lake Community Council's Citizen of the Year and Project of the Year are now being accepted.  The completed forms can be dropped off at Avon Lake City Hall, emailed to modonnell@avonlake.org, or mailed to Martin O'Donnell, City of Avon Lake, 150 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, OH  44012.
