Day 2 of our 2-day Ohio Boating Education Course

Boat

Dreaming about a hot summer on the lake? Want to be a licensed boater? Get certified by taking the Ohio Boating Education Course taught by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Watercraft Officers. Class includes 2 shortened sessions. This special option with shortened sessions is great for kids, families and those who may find it hard to commit to an entire day.

This course fulfills Ohio's mandatory boater education law requiring all those born after 1981, and planning to operate a boat greater than 10 horsepower, to have boater education. This course is 8 hours and includes instruction on required equipment, state and federal boating laws, emergency procedure, and navigation rules.
