Public Survey to Shape Economic Recovery and Resiliency Plan
Take the survey and share ideas and opinions on citywide economic development efforts!
The Economic Recovery and Resiliency Plan aims to define clear goals, objectives, and actionable strategies for the city's economic future. Some of these strategies will focus specifically on the redevelopment of the former power plant site, while others will tackle broader economic development across Avon Lake.
The public survey, linked below, takes only about five minutes to complete. While participants don’t need to be Avon Lake residents, the first question asks if they are, helping the city and its planners better understand the context of the feedback.
“We haven’t conducted this type of public survey for a planning project in over five years,” said Ted Esborn, Avon Lake’s Community Development Director. “The last one was for our comprehensive land use plan. This survey, however, is focused specifically on economic development, and we’re eager to hear from as many people as possible.”

The deadline for completing the survey is Monday, March 24.
