Fashion meets fun at Sisterhood, Avon Lake’s new clothing boutique

10/15/2025 – Avon Lake, Ohio – The City of Avon Lake will hold a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Sisterhood: A Clothing Boutique for Girls, located at 150 Lear Road, on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sisterhood offers a variety of dresses, jeans, tops, athleisure, and Avon Lake gear, as well as accessories, purses, lotions, and lots of glitter.

“Sisterhood is a love letter to my daughters,” said owner and Avon Lake resident Stephanie Baki. “I wanted to show them that their stay-at-home mom could do something out of her comfort zone and create a welcoming space for girls to feel empowered and express themselves through their style.”

Baki added that Sisterhood offers items shoppers are not likely to find in other stores. “There are always new styles coming in, and plenty of variety so every girl can find something she loves,” she said. “I also hope it is a place where parents and grandparents can come in and enjoy their time shopping for the girls in their lives.”

“Sisterhood gives Avon Lake another wonderful reason to shop closer to home,” said Avon Lake Community Development Director Ted Esborn. “Having a dedicated space that caters specifically to our young residents is a sign of a thriving, engaged community. We look forward to its success.”
