8th Annual North Coast Business Expo Slated for July 15
06/14/2021 – The City of Avon Lake, in cooperation with the North Coast Chamber of Commerce, has announced the return of the 8 th annual North Coast Business Expo on Thursday, July 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ahern's Banquet Center, 726 Avon Belden Rd. (Rt. 83) in Avon Lake.
The Expo is free and open to the public, and will feature a long list of local businesses gathered under one roof to display their products and services. Along with taking in the many exhibits and talking with business owners and representatives, the Expo will offer attendees several giveaways and raffle prizes, music and entertainment, and food samples from local restaurants.
Businesses can still take advantage of exhibiting at the Expo by visiting www.NorthCoastChamber.com/events/ and scrolling down to the Expo link. Exhibit space costs just $150 per six foot table and includes a special exhibitor only networking hour prior to the 3:00
p.m. public opening.
The City and Chamber are also seeking sponsors for the Expo, which offers a variety of exposure and activation opportunities to interact directly with the hundreds of residents from Avon Lake and nearby communities who will attend the event. Sponsors receive exposure in all Expo marketing leading up to the event, free exhibit space , links on the Avon Lake social media channels and even spotlight time on the stage during the Expo.
“The Business Expo presents a tremendous opportunity for our many local businesses, who have faithfully weathered the pandemic storm, to get reacquainted with consumers who are anxious to get back to normal life,” commented Ted Esborn, Economic Development Director for the City of Avon Lake. “We're very happy to work with the North Coast Chamber to provide companies with a centralized venue to showcase their offerings and help grow their businesses.”
A portion of the proceeds from the North Coast Business Expo will be donated to the Avon/Avon Lake Community Resource Services (CRS), a responsive, community based organization whose mission is to diminish t he effects of poverty. CRS is the area's designated emergency food
pantry serving individuals and families needing assistance from its Avon Lake storefront located in the Beach Park Station plaza at 33479 Lake Road, Suite C. Additionally, CRS offers financial assistance with utilities, rent, auto repair, medical/prescription costs, school related expenses and
other basic needs to clients who fall within defined income qualification guidelines.
