Public Meeting about the Avon Lake Power Plant Redevelopment on July 19 at Avon Lake High School

07/05/2022 – Avon Lake, Ohio: On Tuesday, July 19, at 6:00pm, there will be a public meeting at Avon Lake High School (175 Avon Belden Rd.) on the demolition and redevelopment of the Avon Lake Power Plant site. The featured presenters will be from Avon Lake Environmental Redevelopment Group (ALERG), a subsidiary of Charah Solutions.

The program will begin in the Performing Arts Center (PAC), where there will be an hour scheduled for ALERG to present information and respond to questions. Then at approximately 7:00pm, ALERG representatives will move to tables in the high school commons area, along with representatives from the City and the Avon Lake Community Improvement Corporation, giving attendees a chance to discuss the project with those different groups.

The opening session in the Performing Arts Center will be broadcast on the City of Avon Lake’s Facebook page.
