Ribbon Cutting at The Maker Space Studios on Friday, October 2, at 4:00pm
09/28/2020 – On Friday, October 2, at 4:00pm, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at The Maker Space Studios, Avon Lake’s newest business, located at 690 Avon Belden Road, next to Salad KraZe.
The Maker Space Studios is certainly unlike any other business in Avon Lake. It’s opening will come as an exciting development for home-based artists in Avon Lake and the surrounding area. “We have teamed up to open an art studio, gallery, classroom, and flex space for our community,” says Lisa Bridenbaker, managing partner. “The storefront flex space can literally be used for anything from art gallery shows, pop-up temporary boutiques to birthday parties, you name it! The shop spaces or maker spaces are DIY areas of the shop that you can use for your projects or start a new project using our community equipment such as pottery wheels and kilns. Classroom spaces will be used for art classes, art demonstrations and support meetings for our community as well. We will have hourly, daily and monthly memberships.”
