9th Annual North Coast Business Expo
04/25/2022 – The City of Avon Lake, in cooperation with the North Coast Chamber of Commerce, invites the public to attend its 9th annual North Coast Business Expo on Thursday, May 5 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ahern's Banquet Center, 726 Avon Belden Rd. (Rt. 83) in Avon Lake.
The free event will showcase nearly 50 local businesses gathered under one roof displaying their products and services. Along with taking in the many exhibits and talking with business owners and representatives, the Expo will offer attendees several giveaways and raffle prizes, music and entertainment, and free food samples from local eateries.
Businesses can still take advantage of exhibiting at the Expo by visiting www.NorthCoastChamber.com/events/ and scrolling down to the Expo link. Exhibit space costs just $150 per six-foot table and includes a special exhibitor-only networking hour prior to the 3:00 p.m. public event.
The City and Chamber continue to seek businesses to join the current list of Expo Sponsors, which includes the Better Business Bureau, Joseph L. Motta Co., LPA, Peter & Co. Jewelers, Spooner Risk, and TeamLogic IT. Sponsors receive exposure in all Expo marketing leading up to the event, free exhibit space, links on the Avon Lake social media channels and even spotlight time on the stage during the Expo.
“The Business Expo presents a tremendous opportunity for local businesses to engage directly with residents from Avon, Avon Lake, Sheffield Lake, Sheffield Village and nearby communities who are seeking both consumer products and professional services, particularly from local businesses,” said Ted Esborn, Economic Development Director for the City of Avon Lake. “We're very happy to work with the North Coast Chamber to support this 'Buy Local' theme and provide companies with a centralized venue to showcase their products and services, attract customers, and help grow their businesses.”
A portion of the proceeds from the North Coast Business Expo will be donated to the Avon/Avon Lake Community Resource Services (CRS), a responsive, community-based organization whose mission is to diminish the effects of poverty. Last year, the Expo generated $3,500, which the Chamber donated to CRS. CRS is located in the Beach Park Station plaza at 33479 Lake Road, Suite C.
