Corlett, President and Executive Director of The Center for Community Solutions. Governor DeWine has expanded unemployment benefits for laid off workers. In addition, federal policy makers have taken steps to provide paid sick leave, guarantee free coronavirus testing, increased federal Medicaid funding, and suspended work and training requirements for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) beneficiaries — among other measures. Mr. Corlett discusses how these changes help needy Ohioans and other local, state, and federal policy changes that should be considered as the pandemic rages on. Jeanne Shuster, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, discusses and demonstrates exercises that are designed for seniors to improve balance on “Fitness for Every Body.” Host Kathryn Eyring is joined by Doctor of Audiology Joshua Bowyer for the first of two interviews on “Aging Gracefully.”
