Job Title: Seasonal Worker
Department: Public Works
Immediate Supervisor: Assistant Director of Public Works

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The City of Avon Lake is seeking temporary seasonal employees. This part time, temporary work, will include general landscaping work, leaf collection, trash and tree limb collection, restroom cleaning/maintenance and other duties as assigned. Students and those looking for a flexible work schedule are encouraged to apply.

Regular work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some weekend hours on occasion. Hours will vary with weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience helpful but not required. State of Ohio valid driver’s license required. Required to pass a background check and drug test. 

Salary: Rate of pay - $20 per hour (DPQ)
