The discharge of fireworks within our city limits is prohibited and can lead to misdemeanor charges and fines per City Ordinance Chapter 672.03.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, fireworks sent more than 9,700 people to the emergency room and caused eight deaths in 2023 alone.
