Ribbon Cutting at Lakeside Nutrition - June 22 at 10:30 a.m.

06/21/2022 – On Wednesday, June 22, at 10:30am, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Lakeside Nutrition (426 Avon Belden Rd.), the “newest” business in Avon Lake’s Towne Center.

You may have been getting protein shakes and iced teas from Lakeside Nutrition in Towne Center for the last couple years, but the Lakeside Nutrition opening there this week is new and different—despite the same name. “Lakeside Nutrition is a Health & Wellness Hub that serves Fresh Juices, Fruit Smoothies, Meal Replacement Shakes, Protein Shakes, Nutrition Bowls, and more!” says new owner Lettoya Soler. “Our menu is not limited to what we serve, we also provide Nutrition Education Courses by Certified Professionals, on-going body transformation challenges, 1:1 Coaching Services and more!”

The former owner of Lakeside Nutrition contacted Soler in January to ask if she was interested in the opportunity to take over the business. She seized the opportunity because, as she puts it, “We live in a time where the health and wellness of our mind and body are primary concerns. People everywhere are looking for ways to improve their health, manage their weight, decrease stress, and live a healthy-happy lifestyle.”

Ted Esborn, who heads Avon Lake’s Community Development Department, says that the excitement is seeing the continuation of a unique business in one of the City’s Focus Areas. “We identified Focus Areas in our 2019 Comprehensive Plan and one of them was this area around the intersection of Walker and Rt. 83,” says Esborn. “We are thrilled to welcome a new business owner and a new concept for Lakeside Nutrition. Having a health food hub in Towne Center has been a blessing, and now Lettoya brings new energy to it that I think Avon Lakers will enjoy.”
