Avon Lake Shred Day Traffic Pattern Changes
09/08/2022 – The Avon Lake's Community Shred Day event will be held on September 24, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., at the Ellen Trivanovich Aquatic Center parking lot, located at 32850 Electric Boulevard. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the Avon Lake Homecoming Parade will occur in the same area.
To ensure everyone's safety, residents attending the Shred Day event should follow one of two routes
(illustrated on the map):
• Walker Road to Morewood Avenue to Electric Boulevard, approaching the Aquatic Center parking lot from the west.
• Lake Road to Brookfield Road to Electric Boulevard, approaching the Aquatic Center parking lot from the west.
All traffic will exit the Shred Day event, using the Aquatic Center's Lake Road exit.
For those that are unable to attend the Avon Lake Shred Day event, the Lorain County Collection Center offers document shredding for Lorain County residents during regular business hours.
