The Environmental Affairs Advisory Board presented the program Environmentally Speaking: Birding in Lorain County at the Avon Lake Public Library on September 12, 2023. Guest speaker Rob Swindell of the Black River Audubon Society discusses birding basics, including the difference between birding and bird watching, where to find birds, how to identify them, and the issues of conservation and ethics.
