The City of Avon Lake Civil Service Commission is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the position of Full-Time Laborer. All laborer vacancies will be filled from this list. A valid State of Ohio Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License is required (N: Tanker endorsement preferred) for this position. All applicants MUST submit a copy of their CDL with the completed application.

STARTING SALARY - $26.99/hour

Applications may be obtained on-line at www.avonlake.org or in-person from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Avon Lake Municipal Building, 150 Avon Belden Road, 1st Floor, Avon Lake, Ohio beginning Monday, July 17, 2023. All applications are due no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023.

A twenty-five dollar ($25.00) non-refundable filing fee is required when the application is returned. Said fee shall be in the form of cash or personal check payable to the City of Avon Lake.
