Ribbon Cuttings at the Lofts at Beach Park Station on Friday, April 12th at 10am

04/02/2019 – On Friday, April 12th, there will be ribbon cutting ceremonies at the Lofts at Beach Park Station, 33487 Lake Road in Avon Lake. Beach Park Station is the property that many know as "The Old Shopping Center", on Lake Road that features a building that was once a train station for the interurban railroad. The second floor of that building was a hotel decades ago, and now it has been renovated into office spaces called the Lofts at Beach Park Station.

The City of Avon Lake is thrilled that these recently renovated spaces in a historic Avon Lake building have attracted these dynamic businesses. "These small businesses that have found their homes in the Lofts at Beach Park Station have already begun to create attractive and inviting spaces," Ted Esborn, Economic Development Director for the City of Avon Lake. "Some businesses in the Lofts have moved from other commercial spaces, but several of them have made the move from being a home business. Creating pathways for businesses to take that step is a significant part of the Economic Development strategy in Avon Lake."
