We depend on Lake Erie for our drinking water, so it's important to understand the current and future health of this essential water source. Hear from a representative of Avon Lake Regional Water, who will discuss these issues and answer your questions.
This program is part of a year-long environmental series, presented in partnership with the Avon Lake Public Library and Avon Lake’s Environmental Affairs Advisory Board (EAAB), that addresses the environmental concerns of Avon Lake's residents expressed via the EAAB survey. Each session focuses on a different topic presented by experts who will educate, as well as provide tools and resources for making an impact in our community.

Love-A-Stray "A Pup Crawl"

There is no registration fee to participate, and you do not need a dog to participate - just show up at the Dogg House. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed on the patio only. Raffle event will be held indoors at The Dogg House Bar & Grill. Get your event passport there & then head to 3rd Base Bar and Grill & Tailgater's Sport Bar where your continued support helps raise more funds to save more dogs! Music on a Mission Celebrates Make Music Avon Lake

Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.
Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.
Make Music Avon Lake is a partnership between Music on a Mission, the City of Avon Lake, & North Coast Rotary, & gives community members of all ages, creeds, and musical persuasions the chance to experience the joy of making music together, while serving the community. Join the activities from 3:00-9 at Veterans Memorial Park, the Old Firehouse, Folger House, and The Dogg House.
Want to play? There’s always room in the band!! We invite musicians, instrumentalists of all kinds to collaborate on making June 21 a musical masterpiece. Singers, church choirs, jazz combos, rock bands, glee clubs, marching bands, mariachis, and every other kind of musician, of any age group or skill level, are all welcome. Students are invited to bring your instrument – or yourself – and join in!
