The Kiwanis Club of Avon Lake currently has two Endowment Funds with The Lorain County Community Foundation. These funds generate between $15,000 and $20,000 annually in interest. Each May, Kiwanis awards scholarships ranging from $1,000 and $1,800 to deserving high schools seniors who reside in Avon Lake. Students may attend a public school, a private or parochial school, or they may be home schooled.
