The City of Avon Lake Civil Service Commission is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the position of Full-Time Finance Clerk, Accounts Receivable in the Finance Department.  

There are three classifications for the Finance Clerk position, and the salary range for each classification is:  

Finance Clerk I                                          Salary Range $27.27/hour to $33.55/hour
Finance Clerk II                                         Salary Range $23.55/hour to $28.81/hour
Finance Clerk Trainee                               Salary Range $21.35/hour to $25.51/hour 

The qualifications of the candidate selected for the position will determine their classification and wage step plus comprehensive benefits. 

Applications may be obtained on-line or in-person from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Avon Lake Municipal Building, 150 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, Ohio beginning Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  All applications are due to the Commission no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022. 

Minimum qualifications are contained in the application package available at 150 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, Ohio or online. 

A twenty-five dollar ($25.00) non-refundable filing fee is required when the application is returned.  Said fee shall be in the form of cash or personal check payable to the City of Avon Lake.
