The Civil Service Commission of the City of Avon Lake shall hold an examination for the purpose of creating an eligibility list for original appointment to the position of Firefighter/Paramedic in the Avon Lake Fire Department.

Salary & Benefits:
- Step 1 Salary effective January 1, 2025: $71,051.50 annually.
- Includes comprehensive benefits, membership in the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 1361, and coverage under the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund.
