This program is part of a year-long environmental series, presented in partnership with the Avon Lake Public Library and Avon Lake’s Environmental Affairs Advisory Board (EAAB), that addresses the environmental concerns of Avon Lake's residents expressed via the EAAB survey. Each session focuses on a different topic presented by experts who will educate, as well as provide tools and resources for making an impact in our community.

Trash Contract Roundtable Forum

Join fellow residents to share your thoughts about what should be included in the new 2024 trash contract. The participants will breakout into small groups and discuss various topics related to the removal of our trash. The ideas shared will be considered when the City reviews bids for a new contract in 2024.
There will also be a survey, for Avon Lake residents, created with the information gathered from the meeting.
Brandi Schnell, Community Outreach Coordinator with the Lorain County Solid Waste Management District will start the evening off with a short presentation about recycling.
